Jen and Ben: Engaged!

Jen and Ben will be getting married in the spring. We were doing their engagement session photo’s this weekend in preparation of the big day. Being from opposite sides of the valley, we decided to meet halfway and that ended up being in Old Town Scottsdale. It was a great location once we found out where the other one was. It was fun because we all commented on how the place looks so different at 9am on a Friday morning than on 9pm on a Friday night. Funny stories commenced.

Thanks to Jen and Ben! You guys were awesome and I am realllllly looking forward to your wedding. Liz was upset she couldn’t make it but is looking forward to your wedding too just based on the images from today!

The Milner Family

I had the chance to spend the morning with the beautiful Milner family.  We had 6 adults, and 5 little ones…so a park seemed like the perfect place.  On the drive there, it was 43 degrees so we had to make sure the children stayed plenty warm…there was a lot of throwing on of coats and then taking them off for pictures quickly.  Thanks for giving me the opportunity to spend some time with your family this morning.  Here are a few of my favorites, starting with the parents.

Anne and Matt: Engaged!

Sunday afternoon Liz and I had the pleasure to meet with our Valentines Day couple, Anne and Matt. I call them that because they are getting married on Valentines Day next year in an awesome venue, The Inspirador in Chandler! Matt lives in California and he willingly makes the trek out here to spend time with Anne as much as possible. We were able to catch him on a weekend out here so that we could shoot their engagement session for them at the Biltmore in downtown Phoenix. We enjoyed some of the games throughout the location as you can tell also :) It was a pleasure spending some time with you both and we are looking forward to your wedding!
The first two just make me laugh…I think we were saying “I’m not sure what to do with my hands” from Talladega Nights.

Cans with Canines: Cans for Comments

Share some comment love.  I just re-designed my blog…one of the cool aspects was that the new digs allow you to post comments like a wolverine in the snow…well…not quite.  Anyways…

A bunch of great photographers across the continent have agreed to a little challenge.  Between now and the 12th of December, any comments posted gets one can of food donated to a local foodbank.

For every comment left on this blog between now and then…I will donate one can per comment.

As a photographer, it is awesome to see that our images put a smile on someone’s face…comments are the internet way to convey that smile.  You can post on my blog…other photographers blogs…all of ours.  Every comment gets a can of food to a needy family. I’ll be donating my can’s to the St Mary’s Food Bank

So the more comments…the more cans…it’s that simple.
