This was a great wedding. It was the first time I had the opportunity to shoot in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. November in Cabo…Humid! On Friday night, we took some shots and found out about the humidity really fast. Luckily, Saturday was a little less humid and a lot cooler. Emily and Santiago were a great couple to work with, so thank you both! Friends and Family came in from as far as Washington DC to Phoenix. Santiago and Emily, Thank you for the opportunity to capture your wonderful weekend and your wedding day.

I had the pleasure of having a family session with Monica and Garry, their 4 children, and 3 grandchildren last Sunday.  We were able to use the beautiful light right before sundown to get these shots.  Monica suggested we visit the Christ Church of the Valley to get some shots.  I headed down there the day before and took a look around as it is just a few miles from my place.  There was actually a wedding going on right where we did our session.  There is a good reason for that, the place is very nice looking.

Thanks, Monica and Garry for giving me a chance to spend that Sunday with you and your family.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Monday was a beautiful day. One of my best friends and his wife had a beautiful little girl. Camdynn Cole. Liz and I have been friends with Tommy and Brandi since we were young and for me…there was never a doubt about the two of them. If you asked me to tell you the story of how it ended up with them together…well…it would be a really long blog post. Either way, they married almost two years ago and on Monday, had a beautiful baby girl named Camdynn Cole join their family. Liz is pregnant also and I am looking forward to having Camdynn and Logan grow up together. I can’t wait for camping trips together, learning new things about children together, and so on. Either way…get ready to be inundated with shots of Camdynn and Logan over the next few years. The first picture is of the proud parents, almost two years ago.

As I type this, these two are in Hawaii enjoying a much deserved honeymoon. They had been together for a while and their wedding was a final note as to how much they were into each other. The image I post below of Mike looking at Debi just shows me how much he loves her. Mike is a great fisherman, loves it. As a matter of fact…a fishing supply shop shut down for their wedding. I mention this so that hopefully their ring shot makes a bit more sense to you :). I loved working with them. I joined them while Debi was getting ready and left after they took his truck away from this beautiful backyard get together. She got ready at Rochelles Salon and it was terrific.

Arizona Sunsets

Working with Erik and Annie was wonderful. They were so laid back the entire day that at one point Annie actually asked me if she was forgetting something because it seemed like she was just hanging out all day. This couple was from Seattle and decided to get married in Phoenix because it was half-way between his family and hers. Everyone got to take a nice vacation, so it worked out. The funny thing was this…they left Seattle to escape the rain. Well…it rained in Scottsdale on Saturday. Just a little bit for the ceremony, but we persevered. The outdoor shots on the golf course afterward were amazing! Annie said, “Wow…look at that rainbow!” We got it. I told her that my new advertising tag line would be “I Make Rainbows!”. Erik said I would have to charge extra for that. I am really glad this couple got some awesome weather for their Saturday wedding! I am really looking forward to finishing up processing this wedding as the images were awesome so far. Here are a few of my favorites.

I had the opportunity to take some shots of Baby Jayden and his parents. Jayden was really cute… One thing I notice with little children is that they are in awe of the big black camera in their face.
