Jamie and Barrett

Jamie and Barrett wanted to get some pictures of themselves together…But this was the catch…It was at the top of Squaw Peak. So…after a nearly 2,000 vertical climb hiking there, we were able to get some really cool shots at the top. Thanks for the help getting me some exercise guys!

Little Lily is growing up.

I took some shots of Lily on the day she was born back in September and then some more in October when she was about 5 weeks old.  Now she is over 4 months old and she is getting bigger every single day apparently.  What a beautiful little girl!  Thanks Jami and Ron for sharing your Saturday with me.

Dude, I got a Dell!

Well, Not really. My friend Barrett would call it a Sony Vaio. I used to goof on him about his phone being the size of a computer, and having the functionality of it. Well, my phone bit the dust on Sunday and I replaced it with this beauty. I really like it so far. It is a bit on the heavy side, but it should be since it has email.text/windows media player/microsoft outlook/Word/Excel/Powerpoint/toaster oven/bottle opener/taco maker/printer/faxer…

Okay…some of that is made up.

Lindsay and Ollie

Lindsay called me for a portrait session with her new 9 week old puppy Ollie the Dachshund “since he was so cute and young” she said. So I drove over to her place and we wandered through the Westgate plaza near her home and here were some of the results. I felt bad the entire time for her little puppy. He was shaking really bad and we kept trying to bundle him him.

Coming on up…

Fire department graduation/Family night.

One of my cousins graduated from his Fire Academy and I went to the family night with some of my gear. Essentially, it is an opportunity for the families of the graduating firefighters to see what they have learned during the academy. It was a lot of fun out there! You can see the entire gallery, and even purchase prints here

The existing firefighters had to put out the fire and they hosed down the newbies. I don’t know who enjoyed it more?

Happy New Years! It’s a Snow Day

A few years ago Liz was kind enough to go up north with me and go snowboarding. If you ever want to hear about how excellent of a husband I am, just ask Liz about our skiing trip together on New Years day a few years ago.

We decided this year to take the puppies up to the snow since neither of them had ever seen it before. We had a great time up there, ate some PB & J’s I had packed and came on home. I think Liz will agree this was a much more fun day trip than the skiing.

The beauty of a tripod
