Kinnikinick Lake

Liz and I went camping with some family last weekend as it was the last free weekend I would have until we go to Yellowstone in June.  It was really nice.  We had never been to Kinnikinick Lake.  It was interesting getting there.  I only got us almost stuck this time instead of really stuck.  Luckily the part I broke on our camper was only $35 to replace :)

This was how relaxed we were all weekend once we actually got there.

I only had one blood sister growing up, but Lora in the background might as well be my sister.  She has been around my whole life.  As you can see…the goofiness is a family thing.  My sisters striking their best pose.

A few other random camping photo’s

If you get the chance, be outside as much as possible.  Arizona is beautiful.

Samantha - Graduation Shoot

Samantha is graduating…8th grade!!! Doesn’t she look like she should be graduating from High School already? Anyhow, I had a great time taking these and we’ll do this again in 4 years, Samantha. Thanks for the awesome shoot. Here were a few of my favorites from the day.

ps…I was still sneezing today from those shots in the weeds :) It was totally worth it though. Take a look at the third one.

Going Romping!

So if I ever ask you to go out to the desert in my truck and there is a road that looks like the one below in our way…just go ahead and say no. I won’t be offended…I promise. This was last Sunday morning’s fun. We did get my truck out of there, but it did get a couple of bruises in the process. These were taken by my sister, who quite intelligently said she wanted out of the truck before we started going up the hill!

Bethany and Doug - Engaged!

I had the pleasure Saturday night of meeting with Bethany and Doug at the Desert Botanical Gardens for their engagement shoot.  When I told them the rule that they had to be touching the entire session, they absolutely did not mind.  Thanks for the great session you two!  And Liz and I will be trying your Mexican food recommendation one of these Friday nights!  We have to hear that Mariachi band!

Zach - Senior Portraits

I had the opportunity to shoot some Senior portraits for Zach tonight.  He was a bit tired from the Prom last night that he went to, but was a trooper and was able to get some zen like smiles for us!  Thanks, Zack!

First Impression Security Doors

This isn’t my usual type of post, but my wife and I were really excited about this. We found a family owned company that provides beautiful security doors custom fitted to your exact door opening. The sales person came to our house last week and we picked the door, picked the color, the hardware, the color of the hardware, and the type of screen. They called me Thursday to schedule an installation and they were out here today. I have to say, they provided some great customer service. If you are in the market for a beautiful security , custom gates, etc, check out their website at http://www.firstimpressionsecuritydoors.com/

If you are interested in using my specific sales person, shoot me an email and I would be more than happy to provide it to you.
