Leaving Yellowstone - Day 7

So today is day 7 and we are hanging out in Durango, CO about to go grocery shopping for the next few days we are staying with some friends.  I just picked a few I liked from the last few days and am putting them up right now.  I am sure I will post much more later, but for now…here are a few more.  We stayed at the Lake Lodge right on Yellowstone Lake and liked it.  It was great for the two of us.

A sunset looking out over Yellowstone Lake from the Lake Butte.

There was a full moon on Wednesday and this was the view of the moon rising over the mountains from the front of our lodge.

The Grand Prismatic after a little bit of a hike to get a better view.  You can see the people looking at it from the boardwalk…We liked our view a little better :)

And of course the Buffalo.  There were lots of them there and if you have never been to Yellowstone, prepare to stop in the middle of the road.  I mean it.  You will go from 45 to stopped so tourists in front of you can grab their camera’s and get their shot.  At least for mine I pulled over (Tounge in cheek).

Grand Tetons - Day 4

Today is day 4 of the road trip and we are leaving the Grand Teton National Park this morning to go to Yellowstone. While we wait for some laundry to finish up before we head out to Yellowstone, I thought I would post up some photo’s. I was surprised but the resort we are staying at has wireless internet. And we all know much I love my internets.  For anyone thinking about coming to the Tetons, I would really recommend Signal Mountain Lodge to anyone.  It was very relaxed and had great views.

We are roadtrippin’!

So Liz and I will be gone for the next few weeks. I don’t think I will have much internet access and I plan on leaving my phone completely off a few days of this trip too. Be prepared for a really long blog post when I get back though :) We will be gone until the 25th and this is our route below.  We are spending about 4 days in the Grand Tetons, about 5 days in Yellowstone, and another 4 days or so in Colorado with some friends and their family at the family cabin.  There will also be stops along the way at Zion National Park and Arches National Parks in Utah.  We are looking forward to this!

Any print orders will be fulfilled when I return and emails might be accessed along the way. But don’t count on it. I love roadtrippin’

Carson James - 1 week birthday!

Carson is beautiful!  Mollie and Greg are truly blessed.  He came into this world 5 days early because he couldn’t wait to hang out with us all.  He was so relaxed this evening…I wished I could be that relaxed!  Here were some of my favorites from the session.  Look out for some more photo’s of Carson when we return from our trip!

Victor and Kristin

I had the pleasure of shooting this past weekend a great couple out at the Ashley Manor. It was a beautiful wedding, and I enjoyed it a lot…even though I goofed around with Kristin that she was lucky it wasn’t June yet because then it would have really been warm.  I also got a chance to shoot with Tami again from Reflections Digital Photography.

Here are some of my favorites from the day.
