Liz and I saw something that we liked and I wanted to try it.  43 leaves and 6 trees later, here is what we have…

Thanks to my mother who came out and kept me company all day.  I was starting go nutty around the 15th leaf.  Can you guess which one was hers?

So I have not been writing much lately. I know I still have to catch up from my trip to the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone/Colorado, but something else has been on my mind. On May 29th, Liz told me I was going to be a Daddy. Holy cow…That was the sweetest thing I had ever heard (right behind “I Do” on our wedding day). Next was the tough part…holding it in. We wanted to wait until we saw the little one before telling everyone. She was six weeks pregnant and we had to wait until her appointment on 6/30 to see the baby. That day we got the chance to meet our doctor for the first time and she rocked! I was concerned that me being there was going to be treated like a novelty and Dr. Jaacks took the time to answer our questions and treated me like an equal part in the process…which totally won me over. After she answered our questions, we got to see our child for the first time. That kid was moving around like crazy. We asked Lisa if that was her doing that and she said no…the kid was literally doing summer saults. I almost cried there and I was totally amazed. I still am to this day. I can’t wait for our child to arrive. January 23rd…

I only have 1 photo thing booked for January. I am not going to take anything else for January because I want to be there no matter what. Our son/daughter can come at any point and I want to be there for the entire ride!

Names…we are not 100% sure on names right now but we have Logan Zachary or Levi Zachary for a boy and Audrey Adele or Katelyn Adele for a girl. Either way…this child is going to be awesome…(and probably a Canon shooter:))

Also…I have been busy. Being the planners that we are…I am kind of going nuts with this room. It used to be our storage room and now it is our childs room. A quick before and after of the weekend. I wish I had a before shot when it had our mountain bikes in there with numerous shipping boxes…
