Jen and Ben: Engaged!

Jen and Ben will be getting married in the spring. We were doing their engagement session photo’s this weekend in preparation of the big day. Being from opposite sides of the valley, we decided to meet halfway and that ended up being in Old Town Scottsdale. It was a great location once we found out where the other one was. It was fun because we all commented on how the place looks so different at 9am on a Friday morning than on 9pm on a Friday night. Funny stories commenced.

Thanks to Jen and Ben! You guys were awesome and I am realllllly looking forward to your wedding. Liz was upset she couldn’t make it but is looking forward to your wedding too just based on the images from today!

Anne and Matt: Engaged!

Sunday afternoon Liz and I had the pleasure to meet with our Valentines Day couple, Anne and Matt. I call them that because they are getting married on Valentines Day next year in an awesome venue, The Inspirador in Chandler! Matt lives in California and he willingly makes the trek out here to spend time with Anne as much as possible. We were able to catch him on a weekend out here so that we could shoot their engagement session for them at the Biltmore in downtown Phoenix. We enjoyed some of the games throughout the location as you can tell also :) It was a pleasure spending some time with you both and we are looking forward to your wedding!
The first two just make me laugh…I think we were saying “I’m not sure what to do with my hands” from Talladega Nights.

Dustin and Brandi - Lifestyle

Dustin and Brandi have been married almost 2 years now. They wanted to update their walls with photos that didn’t have them in a dress and tux, so we went out and made that happen for them. It was fun working with these two and in looking through some of the other images, I have a great group of images to process this week.

Stefanie and Mike: Engaged!

Yesterday morning was supposed to be dark and stormy, but we work up and the weather was great…a little chilly (a nice Arizona 50 degrees), but really nice. We started the day by meeting up with one of our November of 2009 couples, Stefanie and Mike. Because of the great weather, we were about to stay out for longer than usual. They even brought their Pug, Ollie along for the fun. A quick side note…a police officer showed up just to see what we were up to when we were shooting at the train tracks. Then I think he saw Liz at 8 months pregnant and just let us do our thing. I am telling you…a pregnant woman can get away with anything. Thanks Stefanie and Mike for the great session!

Bethany and Doug: Married!

Shooting Bethany and Doug’s wedding was really great. It was the last of the season before the holidays come and I am taking a bit of a break before the spring season starts on Valentines day for me. Bethany and Doug can’t read this right now as they are traveling the world for a few weeks to Turkey and other great destinations. I could not have thought of a better way to finish the fall wedding season than with these two. Liz and I hope you are having a great time on your travels and will see you when you return.

Wedding and Reception both at the great University Club in downtown Phoenix.
Before the Ceremony

I loved how obvious it was that these two are in love. The next three shots demonstrate that pretty nicely I believe.

What is it they are looking at here?

POW!

Like I mentioned before…The venue was great.

One really cool thing Bethany and Doug did was hired live music…in the form of a Mariachi Band! They were awesome.
