Mike and Stefanie were married on November 14^th at the Phoenix Children’s Museum in Downtown Phoenix. According to the individuals at the museum, this was the first wedding ever there in the buildings near 100 year history. It used to be the Monroe School. Many of the native to Phoenix peeps had grandparents that probably went to this place when it was a school. Such a cool wedding. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

I had the opportunity to shoot an engagement session with one of my fall couples this weekend.  It is finally starting to cool off enough to get back out and shoot some people for a change.  We ran into a few other couples that morning at shooting their engagement sessions too and a few family sessions…I have to say though…my couple was waaaayyyy better

I was lucky to go out with Garett and Linda last weekend as I have known Garett for about 23 years or so. We met in Kindergarten, lived down the street from each other, and now Liz and I get to shoot his wedding. Getting to know Linda was nice too! We are really happy for you two and look forward to shooting your wedding in October!

Liz and I met Kirsten and Joey at the Starbucks in Old Town Scottsdale last weekend to shoot their engagement session. Liz got herself some tasty Starbucks, Kirsten and Joey told me that the Starbucks we were at was the spot they first met years ago…How awesome. They met as barista’s…there was some arguing as to who chased who though

Here are some of my favorites and we are really looking forward to their wedding in October. Kirsten and Joey, you two are awesome.

Jen and Ben will be getting married in the spring. We were doing their engagement session photo’s this weekend in preparation of the big day. Being from opposite sides of the valley, we decided to meet halfway and that ended up being in Old Town Scottsdale. It was a great location once we found out where the other one was. It was fun because we all commented on how the place looks so different at 9am on a Friday morning than on 9pm on a Friday night. Funny stories commenced.

Thanks to Jen and Ben! You guys were awesome and I am realllllly looking forward to your wedding. Liz was upset she couldn’t make it but is looking forward to your wedding too just based on the images from today!

Sunday afternoon Liz and I had the pleasure to meet with our Valentines Day couple, Anne and Matt. I call them that because they are getting married on Valentines Day next year in an awesome venue, The Inspirador in Chandler! Matt lives in California and he willingly makes the trek out here to spend time with Anne as much as possible. We were able to catch him on a weekend out here so that we could shoot their engagement session for them at the Biltmore in downtown Phoenix. We enjoyed some of the games throughout the location as you can tell also It was a pleasure spending some time with you both and we are looking forward to your wedding!
The first two just make me laugh…I think we were saying “I’m not sure what to do with my hands” from Talladega Nights.
